Graduate Medical Education

Interns, residents and fellows training at Brigham and Women's Hospital and it’s affiliates participate in variety of training courses as they progress through their training. Course focus on both the technical and non-technical skills necessary for the chosen discipline. Many sessions focus on high-acuity, low frequency events that prepare trainees for events in the clinical setting.

During this course, Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residents will learn how to manage OB/GYN conditions that can present in the Emergency Department and will be trained on SANE procedures.

OB/GYN Residency Forceps Assisted Delivery Course

During this course, OB/GYN residents will be introduced to forceps assisted vaginal delivery.

OB/GYN Residency Operative Delivery Course

During this course, OB/GYN residents will review vacuum and forceps types and how to perform vacuum and forceps assisted vaginal deliveries.

OB/GYN Residency Resident as Surgical Teacher (RAST) Course

During the course, Senior OB/GYN Residents will gain experience instructing Junior OB/GYN Residents on a laparoscopic surgical procedure.

OB/GYN Residency Urogynecology Course

During this course, OB/GYN Residents will practice urogynecologic skills.
