REDCap, RPDR and Epic Integration – What’s the future?

REDCap, RPDR and Epic Integration – What’s the future?

Speaker:
Lynn Simpson, MPH, Research Data & Analytics Services Manager
Enterprise Research Infrastructure & Services (ERIS)
Last year, Partners Research Computing developed a tool to allow users who have access to RPDR (Research Patient Data Registry) to more easily import data into REDCap. This session will review the RPDR Data Import Assistant tool, access to REDCap and RPDR. We will also discuss the limitation of this tool and gather use cases from attendees on what data and tools they need to streamline data capture from Epic, RPDR into their REDCap projects.
Main Objective: Provide feedback to Research Computing to help drive development for FY2017

Learning Objectives:
(1) Learn how to access REDCap, RPDR and the Data Import Assistant
(2) Learn which RPDR domains are supported and what data can be imported
Target audience: Researchers that have IRB approved access to request identifiable RPDR and Partners Epic data and want to use REDCap to store and manage that data.
In collaboration with the Harvard Catalyst, REDCap is a free, secure, web-based application hosted by Partners Research Computing and designed to support electronic data capture for research studies.
