Non-technical skills (situation awareness, decision making, leadership, communication and teamwork) are increasingly considered essential for the successful surgeon. The aim of this session is to raise awareness of the impact of non-technical skills on surgical performance. Participants will gain knowledge of the NOTSS handbook and learn to identify and assess non-technical skills in the operating room.
