REDCap – Patient Provider Consent

Ended: Oct. 24, 2019

REDCap – Patient Provider Consent:

This session covers a project template researchers can use to get consent from providers to approach their patients to participate in studies. By pulling data from the RPDR as well as EPIC via PeRC researchers can contact providers about patients they wish to recruit for their studies. Providers can then decide from there if they will give permission for the patients to be contacted and submit that data via survey portal.

Learning Objectives:
1. Overview of patient provider consent
2. Basic set up of project

Target Audience: Researchers who would like to recruit a certain population of patients for their projects and need provider consent.

Reviews

Susan R: Another great presentation from Lynn. It would be helpful to see what the emails and project look like to a PCP filling it out.
