Pediatric providers at community hospitals are expected to respond to a myriad of pediatric emergencies, yet most feel uncomfortable and unprepared to do so given the rarity with which they are faced with such emergencies. In this collaboration between Mass General and Emerson Hospital provides, in-situ, simulation-based team training provides repeated, safe opportunities for the team to practice their coordinated response to emergencies, including becoming more familiar with their equipment and on-site resources.
