Are you able to keep up with the changing face of genetic research? Have you heard of disease areas that have seen explosive growth in genetic discoveries in the past year? This is an excellent opportunity to learn the essential elements of complex trait genetics and gain the latest insights from expert faculty from the Center for Human Genetic Research and the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. This course is strongly recommended for experienced clinicians, clinical investigators, nurses, and other clinical research staff who wish to further expand their knowledge of modern concepts in genetics and genomics.

Reviews

Anonymous: Overall: likely too advanced for anyone without a PhD, MD, or Master's in a relevant subject area. The modules/lectures do not build on each other and mostly don't seem to be sequenced in any particular order, which is a lost opportunity. However the knowledge and expertise of the instructors is phenomenal. Moves fast. I only attended half the day as it was a bit over my head, but plan to come back next time after reviewing the slide decks in detail.

Frederick S: Excellent primer by many investigators, very useful for staff as intended as well as for clinicians. It may be too advanced for some staff, and too limited for clinicians e.g. more on ethics , animal models, corporate ventures?
