Anonymous: It was wonderful to hear about the different and life changing experiences each doctor had had abroad. However, I am planning to pursue a Masters in Global Health, and I was hoping to hear from people in other career paths who were not MDs (as was suggested in the seminar title). I probably would not have taken this course if I had known it was for doctors only.

Anonymous: The talk was very interesting. I liked hearing about the career paths of the three different physicians. I agree with other people that the title was misleading. The talk was more geared towards future physicians. I was hoping to hear more about careers of other health professionals.

Anonymous: The title of the seminar was a bit misleading; I went in thinking I would be hearing from people in different health professions (PhD, DrPH, RD, etc). Although the physicians that spoke had a lot of meaningful experiences, their experiences weren't necessarily relevant to me as I am not planning to pursue a degree in medicine or complete a fellowship. Overall the seminar was informative but going forward one of 2 things should happen: either the title should be changed to "Successful Career Paths in Global Health Research for Physicians/Aspiring Physicians" or professionals that are not MDs/DOs should be added to the panel.

Anonymous: Excellent speakers with diverse experience. I did not get much insight on how to pursue a career as a non-MD though except when someone asked a question at the end. Spectacular work everyone has done thus far. It might be useful to have an activity 'e.g. learn by doing'?

Anonymous: Enjoyed the talk but I wished that there was a speaker or two who were not MDs. For current medical students and residents, I can imagine this was a very useful talk.

Anonymous: This was a very interesting talk and I appreciate the speakers sharing their stories. I do wish there had been at least one non-MD presenter to talk about other career paths in Global Health Research.
