Principal Investigator (PI) initiated studies offer scientists the freedom to perform the research that they are most passionate about however that investigative freedom also increases the responsibilities of the study team. Unlike industry sponsored studies, PI initiated studies often have fewer progression checkpoints during the study, reduced oversight and less fully developed execution plans. This session will give you key insights into milestone planning and development, further strategies to monitor studies throughout their tenure, and information that can assist in alleviating potential errors or protocol deviations.

Reviews
Nicole D: I think this course would be better suited to new hires and beginners. The information is certainly necessary but I do feel as though experienced research staff should have a good handle on what was presented in the course.
