Sheila K: I benefited a lot from listening to the experience of the course instructor and hearing about different ways partnerships can be formed. The session helped frame global health research in a way that was accessible, approachable, and provided some real world examples of research partnerships. The session would benefit from being broken down into 2 separate sessions to attain more depth in the course instructor's experience and examples of research projects that were done.

Rui Z: The introductor explain the developing meaningful and productive global health Research Partnerships. The lecture contains the definition of global health, scientific advantages of prevalence, communication skills, mentorships, investment in partners, and so on. And the experience of the introductor helped us understand the key point. I benefited a lot from it.

Lena D: I very much enjoyed listening to the experiences, the philosophy, the musings of Jessica- especially since they parallel much of what I have experienced and thought as a long time educator in Low Resource Countries. I think maybe some of the younger people wanted a more How to Do It lecture but for me it was really great to learn about how you benefit and learn from international work as you go along. There is no cookbook approach because every site has a different culture with different issues and people and you have to figure it out slowly in order to make progress. Good for you Jessica!

Anonymous: There was some Global Health jargon and concepts that were not explained. I had a lot of unanswered questions. Would not recommend for someone who knows nothing about the topic. The instructor and her experiences, however, were very interesting.

Anonymous: Was hoping to hear more about identifying and establishing global partnerships rather than elaborating upon preexisting relationships. Would have appreciated either a more conducive setting for discussion or less attempt at discussion and more presentation content.

Anonymous: The instructor was phenomenal in her delivery of the content, though did not do justice to her experiences worldwide. Would like to see a comparison of her experiences in Asia and Africa - and unique lessons learned in each area.
