LabArchives User Group Session

Enterprise Research Infrastructure & Services (ERIS)

Enterprise Research Infrastructure & Services, ERIS, has an enterprise license for LabArchives for all researchers to use at no cost. LabArchives is a web-based application designed for scientists to organize and share laboratory data with their study team, department, across Partners institutions and with external collaborators. Access rights are controlled by the notebook owner and can be modified to suit the individual needs of each researcher, educator, or contributor.

This session is for LabArchives users, new and current, to meet and discuss how sites/labs are using the application, lessons learned, and share knowledge.

Ann S: I went to this session to see if this program was something that may be useful in my department. The presentation from Lynn was great, and I liked having the open forum format, because it allowed us to bounce ideas off one another. Patrick from Lab Archives was very helpful in address our questions and concerns about the individual issues we had for our projects. I will definitely plug this to my Administration, as I do see it having a benefit for my department for many things. Members of the group suggested that we have a second gathering to go through set-up step by step. Lynn will see about arranging this. I look forward to attending this meeting as well!
